Arrived in Reading on Saturday, where we are settled for the week while Rebecca attends a conference at the University of Reading. We're staying at the Elmhurst Hotel, a little guest house which is a bit out of the way from the city centre, but only 5-10 minutes walk from the university. We spent most of Sunday walking around the town centre, looking at the shops, and sights such as the Reading Museum and the Abbey Ruins.

Reading Town Hall - building also houses the Museum
of Reading and the Concert Hall.

Abbey Gateway
The gateway to Reading Abbey, an abbey built by
Henry I in 1121, of which only the ruins remain.
