Christmas in Switzerland

We woke up late after a late night for some of us last night, and distributed gifts. We then had a lovely breakfast of Pandoro - it's so much better here!!

We then went to mass which, like last night, was surprisingly empty. Not all the family sat together, so we split up and I sat with Zio Marcello and Zia Gabriella.

We then had an amazing 7 course Christmas lunch with Zia Natalina's family, celebrating her 80th birthday as well.

We then had a quick rest before dinner with Davide and Eva. Lisa was home from uni as well so we enjoyed seeing her again. We also met Linda's boyfriend. It is amazing to us how multilingual families over here are, Linda and her boyfriend speak English to each other, Lisa speaks German with him, and they both translate to Italian for Alice to understand!
