Today we strolled around the walled perimeter of the old city, enjoying the turrets, walls and old churches in the magnificent sunshine. A long haired cow with blonde streaks seemed to take a fancy to us as we passed by a steep hillside paddock. Also passed a coupleof llamas resting in their rustic hut complete with solar panel on the roof.....
Examining a lion carving on a rocky wall, we were soon engulfed in a wave of noisy tourists who totally blocked our view and then disappeared as fast as they came. Even the local swans seemed to be taking it easy due to the public holiday today. Mostof the shops were open in the railway station so we bought salad, strawberries and chocolate supplies for our picnic in the sun.
