Switzerland 2008

I want to make one more entry to the Switzerland 2008 blog to tell everyone what great experience we had at the Panorama Hotel in Aeschlen. The owners, the family Tsang, went out of their way to make our stay a delight. The hotel rooms have the most incredible view of Lake Thunersee and the Alps beyond. The view is worth the price of the room alone but they have a great restaurant with an extensive menu of Chinese and Swiss entrees.

Everyone looked forward to the breakfast buffet to start our day with fresh baked bread, pastries, eggs, meat and local cheese. The staff soon learned Americans like their morning coffee... and ice water. The morning we left for the airport, our breakfast was ready at 6:30 AM!

The Panorama is a great value if you're staying in the Sigriswill - Aeschlen - Gunten area.
