Saturday, August 9th - A most amazing day. Our good friend and cousin Marianne Vogt arranged for the travelers to visit with local residents in their homes for lunch or dinner and then some! Deb and I had lunch with Mathilde and Ernst Amstutz in their Sigriswil home. We had a great meal including vegetables from their garden, a fine French wine and enough dessert to blow the Weight Watchers program for the week! Others spent the evening with local farmers high in the hills where they sampled the local cheese and snapps :-)
