Spent our last day in the Lurvely Lausanne. Cathedral very interesting but small when compared to others. There was a good art gallery & museum beside so we whiled away a few hours there after (lovely) lunch. Had a quick buzz around the shops & cobble stone areas then then took a while to find the car (ahem) at the olympic village. So were bit late heading off to the airport but there was still time. Unfortunately we didn't refill the car with petrol at the last available stop on the motor way & ended up in the airport grounds with no sign of any filling stations. Needless to say as time was running out we nearly killed each other looking for a petrol station, and we couldn't just return it empty as it was big car and we used 70eur worth of petrol at least, just as things were getting very pressured the airline texted me to say the flight was delayed - Thank God!
