Waking up and looking out the window, I could hardly hide my excitement, and other 8 cm over night and the prospect of getting on the slopes was immense!
Walking down to the cable car I noticed the fog rollintin until the visibility was weak to say the least!
on arrival up the mountain it was even worse, still snowing and -7.
My fist move was purchasing my season pass which felt great. Deal dome and now time for a ski. I the main route down, guessing the piste direction and gradient with snow thrashing against my face wasn't the nicest welcome to the resort.
But skiing down at a moderate speed and doing reasonable sized turns I smiled at myself and was so glad to be there 😊.
Finally the day was drawing to a close and with conditions worsening we called it a data and headed to a cafe. Couple of coffees we headed home, with it still snowing we where amaxed at the depth even on the roads! It's more then i have ever experienced before.
Sat at the chalet now I'm looking forward to what is meant to be a sunny day! Yet it's still snowing even now!
Ill attach a photo of me walking back home after the day skiing.
