Today Sept 7,

We actually slept in - til 8 a.m. Even though the bells ???at the church

(about 50 feet) away ring loudly ? at 6 a.m. We didn't hear them.

I guess yesterday's 2 1/2 hour hike ?? got to us.

Today we got a late start and took the bus to St. Moritz to ride the train to

Poschiavo, this track is part of the Bernina Express.

Oh, for beauty, and startling views of the steep climb!! From 1775 to 2223

Meters. It doesn't sound like a lot but is very challenging for the train to make this assent On a track without a cog-wheel mechanism.

This train goes through 55 tunnels, and 196 bridges and climbs over the Bernina Pass. Usually visitors put out mega bucks to take the "Bernina Express"

With the "Swiss Pass" we have enjoyed all this for one price when you buy before leaving the U.S.

What a site and Lowell was a happy Photographer, snapping shots every ???

10 seconds. :-).

I could never have imagined the my eyes experience the spectacular

Hand of God's creation. ?

Alp GrumAlp GrumAlp Grum

The same altitude as our home in Cedaredge

As Lowell always " we had a cracker of a day! ☀️ ? And so

The many, many, many pictures will reveal.
