Basel and surrounds

Today we traveled north to Basel the city Carmen was born in.
It's billed as the cultural capital of switzerland, but it's a truly beautiful city.
Located at the crossroads of the boarders for Switzerland, Germany and France
And on the river Rhine it's a city of great history, it's old city centre dates back
To medieval times and is a joy to wander around.
Carmen caught up with an old fellow she worked under many years ago and
Showed me quiet a few other places such as the village is lived in from 6 till
She moved out of home, it was a great day.
Topped of with a trip in the evening into Germany for a meal in a German restaurant
By the black forest.
