So, the day has finally arrived... we think. It seems our plane to China has left Beijing and will land in Stockholm this afternoon. The last few days have been hell trying to keep up to date with the volcanic happenings and considering other options if we can't take to the air, but it seems as though lady luck has opened her heart to us - big time.
Stockholm airport is, at this stage, going to be open until 8pm, meaning our flight to Beijing will just sneak in, departing at 7.20pm.
I'll leave it at that for now, we hope the next blog will be from Beijing, if not it could be from anywhere in Eastern Europe... We'll be in touch.
