Jen, Anita and I caught the train into Stockholm. We changed lines so that we would be closer to Skansen. After a 10 minute we arrived at Skansen. Its an open air museum that represents architecture and the history of Sweden. We caught the cable car up the steep hill and headed to the zoo to see Scandinavian animals. We saw reindeer, elk, brown bears (that we being feed by people who throw food over the fence!), lynx, wolf, bison, wolverine and seals. It was then time to say goodbye to Jen, who had to catch the train back to camp to meet the others who were leaving our tour to join another one in Tallinn. She was catching the ferry from Stockholm to Tallinn. Anita and I then went to the aquarium, where we saw monkeys, flamingos and merkeets.
We then walked back into town and went to Riddarholem Church. This is where all the Swedish kings are buried. We then walked to Town Hall and waited in a queue to go up the tower. We caught the lift half way and walked the rest. Wow! It was a great view, saw many sights that we recognized. An

alarm started ringing. The worker at the top who was reading a magazine didn't seem concerned, so I kept taking photos. A few seconds later she was on her walky talky and asking us all to go down! This time there was no lift because it was a fire alarm. Wasn't to concerned, the tower is made of bricks. Finally got to the bottom. Firefighters had arrived. Clearly there was no fire. We were not going to climb those steps again, so we left and got a snack.
We then met the other 7 to find somewhere to watch a game, Sweden against someone. Half way through I was over soccer, so I caught the train back to camp. Sweden lost and Fred was in tears!
