I'm still getting the hang of blogging, so thanks for your patience.
The trip got started when I landed in Vienna - on a public holiday, so not much was open.
That was fine, I just bought a ticket to Milan, and spent the day wandering around a palace.
The next day was a train-bus-train trip to Milan via Venice.
A few days there to visit Aleksandra, who kindly sacrificed some weekend time for me, even though family matters and work pressures were already demanding more than 100% of her time (thanks Aleks). Some photos of the cathedral, the castle, a visit to the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition, some time with Aleks, then it was time to go.
