I am going to post the pictures from graduation. Jan's niece Angelica graduated from High School last Friday. Swedish High School is like graduating with a two year college degree. Once they have finished 8th grade (age 16) they are able to choose a field of study and go to that specific school. They are then linked with other students that are studying the same subject and they are put into a three year program and they graduate with a certificate in that study. It really is a great way to learn skills to use in the work force right away. Only some professions require more schooling. Angelica studied Social Services and is now looking for a job. She will work with children in the system.

The day of graduation it rained 2.5 inches in 24 hours. I have never been so wet in my life. I had a rain coat and umbrella but it was raining sideways. We were al dressed p for the after party and needless to say, got a little messed. We actually had to take our clothes and put them in the dryer at Jans brothers house between the ceremony and party.

The party was for three students. They have know each other since birth. It was sweet.
