The sun is shining today

The sun is shining today and that is great news. We are going to a horse show in Skurup today with some of Jan's family. It will be fun especially since it is not raining.

We are still searching for a Husbil (camping van). There is a great website (blocket.se) here in Sweden that is similar to Craig's list but has lots of cars for sale. There are alot of choices but we are still looking for the perfect one. There are all shapes and sizes of motor homes and camper vans. It is quite fun looking at the postings.

Unfortunately, some of the ones we want to look at are too far away. We went on an 5 hour train excursion to the North in Mellerund to look at a Mercedes Diesel mini motorhome that ended up having too much rust (Jan put a hole in it with his thumb - oops) and it drove like a boat. It was floating all over the road. I sat in the back and prayed we got back to the house safe. The roads are very narrow. We laughed so hard imagining how it would be to drive across Europe in a boat. You can imagine all the freaking out I would be doing about Jan driving safe. lol It sounded great over the many phone calls but you never know. We are looking closer to home now which limits the choices.

I am going to try to post everyday for now because we are in one place in Sweden. We plan to get on the road sometime the end of the month.

The houses are built without any codes. They are built in the trees, on the water, and with old reusable products.

They have a little Equestrian center in the middle of it all. There was about 12 horses. A few ponies and a couple babies.
