On ghost towns
We also like ghost towns. We have visited several interesting ones over the years. Pripyat in Ukraine (Chernobyl) we visited in 2009. In North Cyprus (2006) I saw Varosha. Even though I could not enter, it was still spectacular. /Ake

Cheese slicers and more
I love seeing quirky things like the largest cheese slicer. The rapids are beautiful and we enjoyed hearing about the ghost town. What a lovely trip. Thanks for sharing.
