R&R in Logroño

We left Los Arcos and are now relaxing in rainy Logroño Spain at the Hotel Condes de Haro. My right hip and knee are causing no lack of anxiety .The desire to continue is intense but the practicality of continuing in pain isn't , "practical " or wise.Our decision to stop is painful too ..very . With 3 years preparation I expected I could do better.

The good is we did get as far as Logrono and now have much better awareness of what to expect when we continue in 2016 . For now we are going to spend several days in Barcelona and rest . Then head home and rest some more .

This ends my blog until we begin again .. We appreciate all the encouragement and help you have giving us during this incredible adventure .

You made it to Logrono!!
I am glad you decided to come home and save your knees and hips. You will continue the journey in 2016 and again I will eagerly await each post. I will sit in the comfort of my living room after an evening of stacking wood and immerse myself in your daily post and envision myself on the journey with you. Thank you for taking the time to think of those of us who remain stateside and share your journey with us!

It's important to know when to stop...
and when to continue. Many pilgrims walk the Way in annual increments. Who knows...maybe we'll run across each other in 2016. Hope you pains are gone following some relaxation in Barcelona.
