Hello everyone, Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July, even though I heard it rained in Cinn. for Adam’s baseball and hope Grandma’s 80th birthday went well. Well this past weekend was a lot of fun. We left Thursday night at 7pm and took the bus to Madrid from there another bus to Barcelona and 8 hours later @ 6:45am we arrived in Barcelona. A taxi took us to the hotel where it was too early to check in but we dropped off our bags and spent the next 3 hours walking around. (Don’t worry it wasn’t dangerous no one is awake before 10 in Spain). We finally found the beach and then we had breakfast. We strolled down Las Ramblas which is the main shopping district. When we returned our hotel wasn’t ready because Europe doesn’t have a schedule. Once settled our hotel was very nice then we headed to the beach, where as I’m sure you are aware European women don’t wear bathing suit tops on the beach. Needless to say there were a lot of interesting people in Barcelona. On Saturday we headed to the main cathedral where we were rejecting for wearing tank tops and

shorts, --gotta love old fashioned Catholicism. We then we to Picasso museum which was cool but a little boring. Meanwhile we passed the house of artist Salvador Dail, which was awesome and passed by the windows of Chanel, Gucci and Burberry. We then went to la Sagrada Familia another church which was under construction followed by Park Guill which was a park composed of Dali’s mosaic work. Then finally we went back to the beach at 7:30 pm. So no I didn’t get much sun but that’s okay. For dinner I had this seafood pasta. Some other girls went to a flamenco show but I was too tired. SO that was my exciting weekend in Barcelona, it was nice to just have space in a hotel and eat at a normal hour. For the most part everyone got along well too. On Sunday we left at 11 am to come home and I arrived in Segoiva at 10pm. The bus ride wasn’t too bad.

Love you and miss you all.

p.s. Note to Uncle Steve. I have received both your comments. So don’t worry. Aunt Megan I know you want more pictures but they take a long time to load on the travel blog site.

Adios,
Nicole
