It was a pretty short drive the next day. The famed city of Toledo, as in Holy, was our destination. We tried to follow CM2019 but it was going to take 4 hours. Your Toledo campsite
looks and sounds a lot like the one we had in Seville. Did you buy anything made of Toledo steel?

van
I have traveled extensively in the US using a van and now a truck with a camper. It is so much more convienent than setting up a tent especially in bad weather. Next year I may rent a van in Europe for the same reason. Is the van that you guys are using too small in back to put a makeshift bed in. Or do you just prefer using a tent ?

the berlingo
there would be plenty of room to set up a bed in the back of a van like the berlingo, but mostly we weren't in a hurry and it was easier to set up a tent to have a place to sit around in, cook dinner, that sort of thing.

Van
Thanks for the info on the van. I will keep it in mind for next year when I will be re-exploring Europe. I explored it back in the 70's in my volkswagon van and it was great. Time to do it again.
