La Palma is a great island for walking. The walks can be tough and strenuous in the mountains but there are some easier trails near the coast and through the forests.

We did some walks ourselves using the buses to get from a to b but found that the guided walking organised by Natour was excellent.

We met people from different countries, the guides were multi lingual, the walks very interesting and of course it was easy to get from and to our hotel at the start and at the end of the walks.

Our walks in the forest near Los Tilos and to the mountain springs through 13 water tunnels were enjoyable.

We also walked along the coast near Puerto Espindola and San Andres and visited Playa de Nogales.
