Spain - Navarra

After arriving in Valladolid by Ryanair from Brussels we got our rented car for a week.

To see some of the Provence NAVARRA

After an easy three hours driving on the highway we arrived in Tudela, a small city on the pelgrim route to Santiago de Compostella.

Tudela is one of those typical spanish places, but just half an hour away you have the feeling of finding yourself walking on the moon in 'Las Barnedas Reales'. Several movies are shot here like:........

The provence of Navarra is know for its many kingdoms. The small towns in the region all have a castle and city walls.

We walked the famous route from the cathedral to the pamplona stadion (as they do during the famous bull running week). We felt the great spanish athmosfpere of having some tapas during the evening and a good glass of wine.

our final stop was the best: San Sebastian, beautifully situated at the sea and famous for its tapas and with lots to see in this old city.
