Rain, Sun, Snow

Rain:
Early December Michelle, Kate, Row and I headed off for a weekend of culture and gluttony in the Spanish city Bilbao, home to one of the world's four Guggenheim Modern Art Museums. In the ultimate girl's weekend, we stayed in a swanky hotel and spent a day shopping and a day at the Guggenheim. In between we drank sangria, ate our fill of olives, salty fish and cream leaks, sampled every single pastry in the buffet breakfast, and lazed about in the hotel's open air pool (despite the fact it was a bit rainy and cold). I could get used to this...

Sun:
Late December Lib, Jane and I spent a few glorious days relaxing on the beach and by the pool in Langkawi, before Jane and I headed to Oz and Lib to India for Christmas.

Snow:
In January Mads and I spent a weekend in Oslo.
