mounting La Veleta (3394)

at the and we managed on time to wake up early to catch a bus at 9 o´clock at the busstation - whitch is a masterstroke in granada. but we did it and reacht at this ugly village Prado Llano at ten o´clock, where we started at 2500m with our conquest of the Veleta peak at 3394m. with a map and motivation we struggled against wind and weather. on top of at the peak we saw the wounderful high mountain landscape, without high vegetation this earth presented us her naked beauty, shaped out of stone through rain, wind and - thousands of years before - ice.
we headed back, happy about our successful battle against the dangerous barricades of the nature, on a ridge between the most southern ski-region of europe at one side and the natinal park of the Sierra Nevada at the other one.
