Bus Ticket Kiosk
Pam buying her ticket for the hop-on/hop-off. Our visit to Cadiz was a pleasant surprise. It turned out to be a most charming & captivating port of call. We did not book a tour. We could have gone to Seville and the Andalusian area. But instead we bought tickets for a hop-on/hop-off bus and had a great tour of the city.
We got on close to the ship and rode to the other side of the city where got off to stroll down the street. We found a great little restaurant for beer and tapas. These were better than what we had in Barcelona. After a fine repast, we walked along the shore a while more. Some got back on the bus while Deanie, Pam, Linda G and I walked along the beach and saw some charming sights. We ended up walking all the way back to the ship without finding a bus stop. Linda and Deanie went to a shopping center where they found J&B and wine. Pam and I deposited some of our stuff on the ship and then set out again to ride around the city some more. There were many places that I would have liked to get off and spend more time,
The Bus
Great double decker buses with headsets for narration. but there just wasn't more time to be spent. I ended up with quite a sunburn by riding in the open air top of the bus.
We got back to the ship in time to go to the Skywalker Lounge for push-off cocktails. Again pre-dinner cocktails and dinner were next. Several of us went to a production show, "Shake, Rattle & Roll" in the Vista Lounge. Princess does a great job of Vegas style entertainment. Including, but not limited to the casino. There was some sort of high-end entertainment each night. More about this when I talk about Life on the Ship.
