Today Barbara and Matjaz took me through the Julian alps.

We started the day with nice long walk along a gorgeous river. Every now and then there were small pools of water, which looked quite inviting...until i realised that the water would have been no more than 8 degrees!

Later that day we reached the top of another mountain that had some very whindy roads, which some of you may know just how well I handle them! I felt a little sick for a while after that, but the views from the top where all worth it!

We then went for a shorter walk up a mountain to reach a small waterfall and a pool of water, of which was the most beautiful clear blue I have ever seen.

As we neared the end of the day we visited a small town, and wondered through the castle...it was not as good as Bled Castle, but still worth visiting.
