The day started great. I went to the local swimming pool with my friend Srdjan. We enjoyed some well deserved cooling off as the temperatures went passed 30 degrees C.

Around 3 pm the clouds appeared out of nowhere and the rain came down for 20-30 minutes.

It was a perfect time to take a nap and rest for the trip to Novi Sad in the evening.

A short 1 hour drive from Belgrade is a beautiful city of Novi Sad. It is home to EXIT music festival in July which attracts many international performers. It is 3 day event with performers such as Eric Prydz, Roger Sanchez, Snoop Dogg, Wu-tang Clan, Beasty boys, Basement Jaxx, Frankie Knuckles, Lauren Hill and many many others. more info about the festival at http://www.exitfest.org


In any case, we went there and met up with Srdjan's cousin and went for pizza dinner, which was absolutely amazing.
We all had a "Hungarian" pizza on oven baked thin crust with hot peppers, ham and mushrooms...

it was delish'.

After the dinner we strolled the main street, where young people walk to be seen and see others, as well as sit and drink coffee and beer in many open street patios.
