... our hotel in Lake Vidraru was a bit isolated, and we didn't want to drive around the tight and twisty roads in the dark, given the state of the road. So we decided to eat at the restaurant, which had some mixed reviews on TripAdvisor - some claimed that the food was fantastic, while others called it inedible. It was somewhere in between.

... by far the highlight of dinner, with bacon, onions, and peppers.

... and topped with a fried egg - it tasted pretty good, but was barely room temperature. I should've stopped eating it, because the next day I had some flashbacks to Phuket (i.e. stomach troubles).
