I live in a town called Zalau (Zilah-in hungarian). Because every travel has to start from somewhere I think this is the place where mine is starting. So for those who didn't see my hometown yet I'm putting soem picture on the blog.
as I said every trip has to start from somewhere. I'm starting usually from this quite small town, but to be more specifical there is not only my town but a more important thing is that here lives my big family and many of my friends (maybe some of you 😊 )... so I'm introducing also my family: I have my parents mom and dad, my brother, Levi 2 year younger then me and three of my sisters Ildiko(Ildi), Klara(Klari), and Aniko(Ani). maybe on my latter blogs you will see pictures of them... who knows? 😊)
so let's return to our main subject: Zalau
the town has arround 70000 citizens, 14% of them hungarians, the remaining percent beeing mainly romanians but there are also romas(gypsies).
We have many elementary schools so I won't mention that but I will tell some about my good old high school. the high school had many names during times but now is

the yellow is the county Salaj in Romania and the center of th county is Zalau
called Colegiul National "Silvania". one of its building is arround 150 years old and the frontal one arround 100.
Our towns economy is not really developed but we have still or already some working factories like Michellin and others 😊
usually it's a quite small and peacefull (sometimes too peacefull) town but sometimes they make some big waves so that people could feel that there is still some people in the town. big waves like this was not solong time ago the festival of romans. we have some Roman ruins not so far from our town so they decided to make roman days in the town. (see pics)
in conclusion this is a nice town with nice people so if you wan'a visit it just go ahead.. you will so more than just pics but also feel the atmosphere of it 😊

if you wan'a know a bit more or to see more pics about the town visit the link below:
