Praia de Mira to Sao Pedro de Model

Praia de Mira is situated on a lake and we cycled round it to start our day. On the way we passed an example of the boats used by the locals to row through the surf.

We travelled south along the coast for our overnight stop at São Pedro de Model and on the way went to the most extensive roman site in Portugal at Conimbriga. The most impressive part of the site was the extensive mosaics.
