Dear Peter and Anabela,
Sorry for the delay in writing to you but on behalf of BOA our warmest thanks for a wonderful visit. It must have taken a lot of arranging but everyone has said what a wonderful time they had and it was great to meet so many members of your Association, at the Camara, in your member’s homes at the dinners and at Taylor's on the final evening. BOA had never had a visit to Lisbon before and everyone loved the hotel at Sintra and Obidos was also a hit - such a lovely and unspoiled town.
I have been telling people over here that we had a good breakfast every
35
"Oporto British School" choir outside Câmara Municipal do Porto day, a good lunch every day and a good diner every evening and that between breakfast and lunch we had a good snack every day, and between lunch and dinner another good snack every day. So you wined and dined us to perfection and we all returned home with full stomachs!
For some reason that I can't explain, we have never met anyone from the Porto British School before. So it was particularly pleasing to have the children sing for us at the Camara.
I would also say the visit to the Camara was to the usual formula but it was grander than in the past.
All in all grateful thanks to you both for all the hard work that you expended on making the trip so magnificent.
Sincerely, on behalf of BOA.
Marmaduke.

Dear Peter and Anabela,
We arrived back in Bristol after a near perfect flight with everyone on time in the morning.
The visit was far beyond everyone's expectations and the pleasure and gratitude from the members of your programme and organisation was fulsome, Everyone that I spoke with congratulated you both on a job
well done and thought that that they had had real value for money and good support from you both.
You know that I do not like flying but I will fly to Portugal anytime for an experience like the one I have had this week.
Thank you both for all your hard work and for the careful thought which obviously went into the programme.
Best wishes from the "Smiths".
We hope that it will not be too long before we see you again.
Harry and Ruth.

Hello Peter and Anabela,
We had a very smooth return journey - unusual I hear you say? No lost passports, no one not being where they should be and no delays either.
We finally dispersed at Bristol Airport with most of indicating we will be meeting again in a few weeks for our summer BOA barbecue.
I'm sure our Portuguese trip will take top billing for that evening.
Many thanks once again for all your hard work to make our group's stay so memorable. It was very much appreciated believe me.
Have a rest!! We’ll be in touch again
soon.
All the very best
Liz & Roger
