Espinho is a quiet town (apparently summer months are busy) of about 30,000. As we're on our last stop before heading home, and our flight inckudes a checked bag, I decided I should take advantage and pick up some stuff for the hostel. I left to check our the Continente store, a 10 min walk away, which I had read was a bit similar to Walmart. That's an incorrect description, at least for the one I went to- it was mainly groceries, with a very small houseware section. I left, and saw just past it was a store called Lidl.
