Up sticks again and headed for Cadiz. On the way decided that we were enjoying being on the road again so much that we would try and make Faro in Portugal. Had a good run through, some beautiful scenery and some boring flat land and arrived at the town of Fusal at about 2.30pm. Chose a site, met the local Brits and had a short walk along the quayside. The site is right in the middle of the town, on the quayside, lots to see & do.

Mon 27th Dec

Walk into town first thing, did some food shopping & found a pharmacy. Had a look at the local church and then returned to the van & mage lunch, burger & chips. Read my book for a while, had a doze & then walked out right the way along the quayside and back. Found a shop open that sold me a brush and extending handle for the next time we wash the van. Of course we had left our usual one behind!

Tues 28th Dec
Caught the train into Faro for a bit of retail therapy for Colleen. Lunch out then another lazy day. Had a walk down to the quayside at dusk to watch the fishermen on the rocks. Only guy to be seen catching anything was the old boy fishing for the tiddlers
