Winter Mountain Trail in Bieszczady
What I love about Bieszczady is the fact that they are quiet, peacefull and picturesque, so you can reset your mind and relax during long, long walks 😊

Bieszczadzki National Park features Poland's wildest mountains with the highest peak Tarnica - 1346 m above sea level.

The best way to go on a hike and climb Tarnica is to take a bus / or your own car and go to Wołosate (village).

A picturesque mountain trail starts there.

One of my favourites are the peaks Mała and Wielka Rawka, which are actually the best places to see the sun rise.

The villages in the Bieszczady Mountains are not densely populated, so you can admire the nature in its wild state.

The abundance of nature, especially beech forests, offers a beautiful panoramic view.

Połonina Wetlińska and Połonina Caryńska - the mountain pastures change their state each season, so in winter they are magnificently snowy, during fall they turn orange and red, whereas spring makes them yellow - green.

You can choose from many private places to sleep in "pokoje prywatne" and then there also lovely set mountain shelters (PTTK).

The roads are good,

nevertheless during this year's high winter, I was glad to have the tire chains, so I could arrive at any remote place.
