A few years ago I visted the most beautiful mountains in Poland, the Pieniny. A great starting point is Szczawnica, for many trips. One place to go are Pieniny. They are quite magical with many old castles like Nidzica and Czorsztyn, which history is amazing. I cannot wait to go back there :) It is difficult to decide which one is more attractive, both are a part of an amazing heritage. Czorsztyn's name comes from word "czort stein", which means literally "devil's stone" - deriving from the fact, that the stone comes from the ground. So poeople back in the 14th century gave it a meaning and decided to form a castle upon it. It was a great defence place and on the trade route with Hungary, very practical.
