Berlin-Warszawa express

Left the house of the friends approx 9. o clock in the morning.Went by local train to Hamburg Central and took the ICE of 10.51 to Berlin.At Berlin Central the Berlin-Warszawa express.Took me 8 hours including almost 1 hour delay to reach Warszawa.

A taxi brought me yo hotel Reytan for euro 5.-- the taxidriver used his own rate to calculate back from the local currency. Hotel o.k. but very warm even now temperature outside went down to less than 15 degrees. During the trip from Berlin it stopped every half hour raining.The distance within Poland about 400 km no city to see only a lot of agriculture and trees.

It was late at arrival and I ate in the hotel restaurant. Some soup and a very strange spaghetti carbonara. There was spaghetti on the plate but the other ingredients a bit unclear.To be sure I asked the waiter if this was carbonara. Yes indeed our one and only carbonara .
