Last day in Krakow - Classic Cars and Kamierez

July 1st 2007 Classic Cars

We wandered into market square today to be greeted by classic cars and there equally classic owners. Surreal experience as we just walked out of a basment restaraunt where we had breakfast which was pretty dark, so we were blinded by the brightness and emerged into some strange classic car show.

Kamierez

This is the old jewish quarter of Krakow and is notably darker and more run down (in a good way) than the Market square Area. Full of gothic buildings and allyways and synagogues. Intresting to walk around but we were shattered by walking round so much the two previous days so we didnt spend much time here

Next it is onward to zakopane to rest for a day, then hike into the mountains where there is aparantly a luge on one of the mountains which is only 4 zloty (80p) For a 900m ride down a mountain.
