Riding around the fjord

Everyone except Anita and I went on a steep hike (as the lady in the tourist office described it). Instead we hired bikes from the camp site. The man said we had to wear helmets- I hate helmets!! We rode into town and around the fjord, partly on the bike track and also on the road- which kinda worried us! We estimate that we rode about 10kms all up. It was fun, hadn't ridden a bike since Amsterdam. We stopped by the water and ate our snack and relaxed for a bit, then kept riding. At around 2 we arrived back at the camp site, ate our lunch on the deck, facing the river. I had an afternoon nap. Today was a great relaxing day. At 3 the others weren't back yet, they should be back soon. We watched the tennis, Nedal was playing against someone else- his got great guns! We enjoyed the game, I think he won. We then decided to go for another bike ride. A few minutes later we turned back as we had sore butts and my chain came off. The others got back after 7pm, we were so glad we didn't go with them. The hike was much harder than they thought it would be.

This is what we saw on our second bike ride which lasted about 10 minutes due to sore butts. We rode towards Trolls Pass.
