We were all really excited about today, as the crew have been telling us for the last two weeks how great today will be. Ten minutes out of the campsite we stopped and got out to take a photo of Trolls Pass- a famous tourist road with 11 hairpin bends and where trolls come from. Looking up I could see the road zig zagging in front. We slowly drove up, enjoying the view of the valley below. There was a huge waterfall beside the road and little ones. Got to the top, the weather was quite cool, lots of patches of snow near the road and on the mountain tops. We drove to Linge and caught the ferry across the fjord to Eidsdal. The ride was only 10 minutes and we sat in the bus. We kept on driving, at one stage we were held us as Mercedes were doing a commercial on part of the road. The scenery was spectacular! We arrived at Geiranger for our ferry ride of the fjord. The fjord was 20 kms long and 200 metres deep. The ride went for just over an hour. We saw the steep, towering mountains with altitudes of

more than 1000 metres. On the sides of the fjord I saw many of the abandoned farms on the mountain shelves. Saw the waterfalls thundering down the mountains. The Seven Sisters waterfall is 7 waterfalls in one and they fall 250 metres down into the fjord, across from them is the Suitor waterfall. I really enjoyed the cruise and took heaps of photos. It was quite, as most of the time our boat was the only one on the fjord. The cruise ended at Hellesylt. We ate lunch by the edge of the fjord, what a background! We then drove along the edge of the fjord, through long tunnels. We came to Stranda and caught another ferry to Liabygda and arrived at Linge- where we got our first ferry of the day. Then drove back down Trolls Pass back to camp. On the way we stopped to play with snow. Today was such a great day and very scenic.
