After a relaxing morning, our day of visiting family began with cake and coffee with Robert & Brigette at their very new modern home. Robert is a son of Leif Inger (Elin's brother). They said today was nicer than the best day of summer, so many people were out walking. Brigette, her 3year-old son, and I did so while the guys (Leif Inger included) poured concrete. We had a lovely pasta salad lunch, had a tour of Ulsteinvik today, then on to Alis and Olav Flo (with line through o) for coffee and lefsa. yummy

Alis & Olav live in the old Brevik house in town. Of course it has evolved much over the years and is now going to be torn down in a few years for a new city building. We headed to Orsta for dinner with Randi & Jan Petter, so went through the deepest tunnel in Norway. It is 7.8 kilometers long, and goes under the water. Allan ate lots of the salmon dinner and potatoes, so did I. They also live in a lovely new flat on the top floor and rent out the rest. Runar, who is in the army this year but home until tomorrow, came by with his girlfriend Helena. He has the adjacent flat.
