From Norway.

All is well here in Norway with the weather being hot and dry. We haven't been doing much apart from general living and enjoying the kids. We walk down to the swimming area with the kids were they go in the water but it's still to cold for me as yet. Lilly does her usual jumps from the diving board while we watch with hearts in mouths. Also walks to feed the ducks and Chris and I went out for a fish one evening. No luck!!! We also have been celebrating Lillys 8th birthday with a party for friends one weekend and a family get together this past weekend. Lilly has had a magic birthday and it's always nice to see every one for a catch up. Of course there has been a bit of shopping involved. Chris and Hege have both been busy at work so we have had plenty of time to enjoy the kids by ourselves. Rune and Lillen, Hege's parents, have returned from Spain so it's been good to catch up with them. We head off there in about 8 days. Hope we can stand the heat. I read that NZ is having another very cold snap, I feel guilty, NOT. Hope all is well Pip/Rod

Looking down on this area which is an easy walk from home. Heaps of people come here to have picnics, swim and just enjoy the setting.
