In Harstad we drove our car on one of the Hurtigruten ships. Correction, we had to give the keys of the car to the Hurtigruten-people. They drove the car in an elevator and parked them somewhere in the ship. Apparently the purpose is to park as many cars as close as possible, hence the reason to give the keys.

We had no luck with the weather. We expected to have beautiful views from the ship. Unfortunately, the clouds had a different plan...

In Tromso we visited "the Artic Cathedral". The church -designed in 1964- has 11 arching triangles suggesting glacial crevasses. Inside you can watch the beautiful stained-glass window.

We also visited the Polar Museum. Very informative, especially about polar research/exploration and hunting/trapping techniques.
