Day 41: Friday 16th June 2006: Sunny: it was an early rise again to board the Flambana to go up the mountain on the same track and the scenery breathtaking. We changed trains at Myrdal. We went past scenery of frozen lakes, snow and ice while in the train it was hot. We arrived in Oslo, caught a bus to near where the hostel was and after walking the wrong way, eventually walked across a field and up another mighty hill to the hostel. We had a room with no window, but brekky was included.
Day 42: Sunny: Accidently met up with Dawn and Pat. We all went walking around town, to an 150 years anniversary parade for HM Kings Guard then off on a ferry to the Viking Museum and to a fort. We had a meal of pizza and coffee, then went back to the hostel and sat outside to look at the view while we ate fresh strawberries and chatted. Honestly, hostels are the best places to stay once you know where they are and the right transport to town.
Day 43: Week 7: Sunday 18th. June: Sunny: After brekky it was off to see
the sights. A train
to nowhere and back again, then to the Sculpture Park - ugh!!!.We went into a museum and put our feet up while we watched a video on Oslo. We went on tram No. 12 to the end and back, bought food for tea and back to the hostel. We were both very tired.

Looks like you're still having fun but put some pictures of yourselves on the website!! My mother is now following your journey and keeps asking what you both look like...hopefully she's being inspired.
