First day

---

First day, not much to say but free internet access in hostel while drinking. So to get this bad boy started:

* Ferry uneventful except for a boat near us catching fire and lifeboat having to rush out and save it
* Si has personal crisis from home before we've even entered Dutch waters
* Rudi Voller lookalike boards ferry and is photographed by both of us in a covert manner
* On arrival in Rotterdam, tram is the chosen method of transport. Except we fail to get off at the right spot and end up going through the Dutch equivalent of South London. Which fortunately ends at the ground of Sparta Rotterdam. And there is much rejoicing and photo taking.
* Eventually arrive at hostel an hour and a half after we were supposed to.
* Find out hostel is in red light district
* Jai swears at padlock very loudly after trapping finger in "locker"
* Rest of evening runs suspiciously smoothly

News of your journey has obviously reached Norwich lads - on Friday, Anglia weathergirl Wendy Hurrell has left the station for "Pasture new". Hopefully those pastures will include the world of glamour photography.
