We weren’t quite sure what we would find at our first stop in the Netherlands, Den Helder. We had been told by some that it was just a convenient place to stop for a night but that there wasn’t much there to endear itself to you as a place to spend any time. Like so many others we love to travel and we love to sail so cruising makes a lot of sense. Janice has retired from Cornell as a business manager and Bob has retired from South Seneca school district as the high school principal. they really are on "land" as they are drying out to work on the bottom of their boats and will go out when the tide is high again
