Amsterdam!!!

Got to go to Amsterdam last weekend! We took the night train Thursday night after school that left at 9 and we got into Amsterdam Friday morning at 10:30. Amsterdam was sooooo beautiful with all of the canals and leaves changing. Luckily my friend Rachel from Greece had been there for a few days after we all left Athens so she gave me some great advice about getting the city pass (which saved us a ton of money on museum entrances, discounts on food, and free bus and tram rides). Our hotel was by the airport so the busses were crucial. Saw the Van Gogh museum and the Handbag and Purse museum, ate good food, took a canal tour on this big boat, and walked around a ton, luckily it didn't rain. Took another night train back on Sunday night via Berlin. Got a sleeper car with 2 fold down beds that were very comfortable. Had to take a taxi back to our apartment Monday around noon when we got back since it's a holiday and the busses weren't running. Only had to teach 3 days this week which was reallllly nice. We were supposed to be in Zakopane (the Polish mountains) hiking this weekend but had a little trouble with our money and it was too late to leave by the time we sorted it out. So today we went into Wroclaw and tried out another shopping mall. I got the cutest shoes and a couple books to read. It's another 3 day work week next week since Thursday is a holiday and I think we're going to Warsaw for our 4 day weekend next week. Maybe. Or Prague. 😊

Oh and I added captions to all of the Auschwitz and Krakow pictures so hopefully they're clearer. I'm having trouble uploading all of my Amsterdam pictures since I've got like 40 so I'll add a few at a time.
