Amsterdam is built around canals like Venice, only not as disgusting smelling

Houseboats and Bikes
There are more bikes in the Netherlands than people. Anywhere that there is something that isn't going to move, there is probably a bike locked up to it

Anne Frank Huis
Even though its probably #1 tourist spot in Amsterdam, the Anne Frank Huis is definitely worth seeing.... actually a very good museum. I was just expecting ... yeah this is where they hid from the Nazis type deal

Safe to Eat Mushroom Chart?
This was in the Pancake Bakery about 4 blocks down from the Anne Frank Huis. Yeah you might spend 15 euro on breakfast but it was amazing

The Heineken Experience is awesome. Don't miss the ride type thing at the end and try to go when it's not very busy

This was the guard station when there used to be walls around the city back in the 1700's

Observation Deck thing... some 17 yr old French girl took mushrooms and jumped off and killed herself 2 days before I got to Amsterdam.. apparently it caused a big debate in the Netherlands Gov't
