I stayed in Malta after my travel to Croatia in April 2004.
The first day, I arrived in a holiday village named Hal Ferh near Golden Bay.
I took the bus to Valetta.
I took some photos.
The next day, I went to Valetta.
I saw the video presentation of the whole Malta history entitled The Malta Experience.
I walked a little.
I went to a pastry-cook's shop.
I ate a Qassata that is a Maltese cake with cheese.
I took a cake with vegetable.
I had a Honeywheel that is small pastry shaped like a wheel with honey.
I visited the museum of the Saint John co-cathedral.
There were big tapestries offered by the Great Masters of the Order of Malta.
The following day, I took the bus till Saint Paul's Bay. I went on foot to a bus station to go to the ferry that goes to the Gozo island.
I took a return ticket.
I went to the Gozo island.
I took the bus from the harbor where the ferry arrived to Victoria.
I walked.
The weather was very sunny.
I saw an aqueduct that was built when the Romans were there.
I went in a village of handicraftsmen where I bought postcards in shop and a plate in another shop.
I went to Azure Window.
At this place, there is a boulder with a hole inside it through which the sea and the sky can be seen with other boulders.
When the sky is blue, it is easy to understand the name of the place.
I had a blue sky.
I took a nice photo of this place.
There is a diving school there.
It was sunny.
I laid on a boulder to let me sunburn.
I went on foot to Victoria.
I took the bus from Vistoria to the ferry.
I arrived on the Malta island.
It was too late to go back by bus.
I climbed some time on a road.
It was at night.
I thought I could walk to my hotel.
I arrived at a sort of natural park near the sea.
There was a man accompanied by a woman whom I asked if it was possible to go to Golden Bay where my hotel was from the place where I was.
It was answered to me that it was impossible.
I
had to go back.
I went to the nearest hotel where I talked to the man that was at the reception.
The receptionist told me to sit down in a sofa in the hall to wait.
I asked him to call a taxi.
I waited for some time.
The taxi arrived.
I went by taxi on flinty and narrow paths to my hotel.
The taximan drove rather quickly.
The vehicle jerked about.
I laughed from time to time.
The taxi arrived at the hotel.
I came to the restaurant just when it was closing and I catched the dishes before they disappeared.
I ate.
I went to my room to go to bed.
The next day, I went to the Gozo island.
The weather was cloudy.
After I arrived on the Gozo island, I went by bus to Victoria.
I walked with the initial thought to see the megalithic temples.
I went to Xaghra.
There is a beautiful church.
I went on walking.
I went on a small path on the countryside.
I saw a swallow.
The walk was pleasant.
I saw the seaside.
It was the North of the Gozo island.
I saw a hamburgers shop where
I bought a hot chocolate, salad, fries.
I ate at a table where I had a view on the sand beach that was orange.
There was some Sun.
I went to Victoria on foot.
I went by bus to the ferry.
After I arrived on the Malta island, I had my bus to go to Saint Paul's Bay.
I waited for the bus.
I went back to the hotel.
The next day, I went to the Gozo island.
The weather was pleasant.
I took the bus to go to Victoria.
I went back by bus to the ferry.
I went back to the Malta island.
I went by bus to Valetta.
I took photos.
I went back from Valetta to my hotel by bus.
The next day, I went to Mdina in an organized tour with a group.
I saw the ancient Greek neighborhood, the museum, the Roman place, a covent, the cathedral.
There is a story of Mdina.
A Roman governor and his wife had looted the temples in Malta.
Ciceron went to Mdina to restore the rights of the victims.
Louis XVI went to Malta.
We visited the cathedral.
The
central painting shows Saint Paul's progression.
We saw Saint Paul's cave.
We went to a village of handicraftsmen near Mdina.
We visited Saint Antoine's botanical garden.
We saw fig-trees.
There was a smell of jasmines and orange-tree flowers.
We saw palm trees.
There was mimosa.
