We woke up and waited for Dad's cousin Ezio to come and show us the way to church. We parked at their house and then walked across to the church with Matteo. The mass was lovely, with the priest adding a welcome in English to the visiting Australians.
After mass the boys played soccer at the church with Matteo, experiencing two new things - slipping on ice when playing soccer and playing soccer with a priest!
We had a lovely lunch with Ezio and his family, then played Wii with Paulo and Matteo. We found it a lot easier to communicate as both boys, especially Paulo, have really good English.
Then the entire extended family came for dinner. Us kids were lazy and only spoke English to the others as their English is so much better than our Italian! It was also easy for all of us as Silvia is an English teacher!
We had a lovely day, and it is so sad that we are leaving tomorrow for Switzerland.
