Not hard to use when first time successfully negotiated and you know how to buy ticketsWe embark on Stage 2 today To Praiano on the Amalfi Coast. It's 2:30 am and for the second morning in a row I have woken early! - still jet lag I guess. Back to Colosseo station to return to Ostiense via Metro - will our day pass still work or is it back to the Tabach to buy a new ticket.
From Roma Ostiense station buy a landline ticket for FM1 line to Fiumicino airport to pick up our hire car. TIP: much cheaper than taking the Leonardo Express from Termini station ( this detail for you John and Ali - planning to follow in our footsteps!) Why are tabach owners so often grumpy old men! :-)
