Bologna la dotta, la grossa, la rossa.

This translates to, "the learned, the fat, and the red." The learned because the University of Bologna is the oldest university in Europe. The fat because the food, is the capital of food you can have tortellini, pasta, lasagna and the unique bolognese sauce that here is called just ragù. The red it's for the aesthetic beauty, the colors of the biuldings are red and orange.

Bologna is also the city of arcades, I found the thing very usefull when it rains. So, because it's the city of the University and they have a study program called Erasmus, I met guys all around the world not just Italy. They go out every night no matter it's monday or saturday. Just go out, take a 1 euro shot and just walked around the city or sit down (every place is perfect, I liked the old stairs under the arcade the most) and talk and know each other. It was love at first sight so everytime I can, I chill out in Bologna.
