The country of Italy was known as the Kingdom of Italy until 1946. The name changed due to Italy's defeat against Germany during World War 2. It is now known as the Italian republic. I chose to apply theme one to this country. The main ethnic groups in Italy are Italian, German, French and Greeks. The capital of this country is Rome with a population of 3.357 million people.

The average income for a person is $30,600 per year.Unemployment rate is high south of Italy due to higher agricultural rates. Italy is the third largest economy in Europe. There is much youth and female unemployment, so i can infer that men have a slightly bigger role in the government of Italy. Italy is also a little bit bigger than Arizona.
